This month I am participating in a photo group where we post a daily photo of something for which we are thankful. I will post a few on my blog as well. November 1, 2012 I am thankful to have a three year old who is already obsessed with games! If you know me, you know how much I love games. Jackson constantly wants to play Candyland, Matching, Go Fish, etc. This photo was edited with Ivory Chill from Erin Hensley Photography's newest action set Silver Somber - being released tomorrow! Check it out!
Rock the Shot's May Photo Challenge is Flower Portrait! So fitting for this time of year. Although I have so many flower photos from this spring, I just love this session too much to not use one from it. This is a three year old's birthday session. You can see more photos from the session on my blog here.

I am a HUGE fan of Confessions of a Prop Junkie! One of the things I love about it is it's a huge source of inspiration for me when I get to see so many lovely photos posted each week as part of the Be Inspired theme .

I am so honored to share that one of my photos was selected to be posted on their blog for the theme Wildflowers! You can visit the blog here. It's alphabetical so scroll down to the N's. You can also visit their Facebook page here.

Three is such a fun age! This little sweet boy insisted on a "messy" photo session. He wanted to do something with "paint" and something with "a field of flowers." I was thrilled to hear this since I saw something similar last year and have been dying to play with something like this! He had a blast getting dirty and running around in his "field of flowers." Happy third birthday J!

I met the M Family bright and early this morning for some 1 yr/3 yr/5 yr/family photos. Not only does the family have some beautifully photogenic children, but they also have one of the cutest little doggies, Biscuit, to round out the family. K, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Soooo jealous of those lashes!

I love the natural mess of this picture of the kids with their Grandma.

Had to include a picture of B with Biscuit!
The most common question I get, once a session is booked, is about clothing. When we get closer to the holidays I will post a more in-depth clothing guide like I did last year. In the meantime, I'd like to share some clothing guides that Corina Nielson has been kind enough to share! Her selections definitely represent my biggest suggestions: coordinate (you don't have to match), layer (adds depth), and reflect your personality! I think 4 and 5 are my favorites!

I had a blast running and jumping around an outdoor shopping area with Child K. I always think my children's ages are the perfect pages, but playing with K reminded me that life will just get more fun with my own little boys are they grow! Five is such a fun age!

I rarely put pictures of my boys on my blog, but this was J's first time at the beach and I just couldn't resist. He loved it! I can't believe we live so close to the beach and didn't go all summer. Also, I normally prefer bright colors, but the white clothes were clean and ready to go, so I went with it. In the end, I think the white worked out.

On the fifth day of Christmas Noelle MacGregor Photography gave me...

It's been a while since I have used today's location. Since the session was part about Child G's adorable face and part about Qbeescloset's great fabrics, an outdoor shopping area was perfect! I still can't get over how mature Child G is! She's only three years old. Both times I have had the pleasure of photographing her, she's been beautiful and cooperative as can be!
